Organisers can retain 10% of the monies taken for AUK medals, date bars, badges.
INSURANCE You must make sure that your riders and yourself are covered by insurance.
All your riders must have third party insurance so that if they have an accident and damage other riders or members of the public they don’t find themselves out of pocket. This fee provides third party cover for riders who are not individual AUK, CTC or BCF members.
Third party insurance (ie temporary AUK membership) for uninsured entrants is £1.
You, as organiser, must have insurance so that in the event of an accident you are not left to pick up the bill should anyone claim you had been negligent. If you are organising an official CTC Section, DA, or National event you are covered via the CTC but other cycling clubs do not automatically have this insurance. AUK can arrange insurance for you. This fee must be sent with the Pro Forma(s).
Organiser’s insurance £5.00 per day or 5p per entrant, whichever is higher.
NB Organisers of approved Permanents are regarded as organising on behalf of AUK.
