Thro New Mills to Buxworth where
leave canal left onto lane
(the Navigation Inn opposite serves excellent meals
and does mugs of tea).
Soon Right at T onto B6062 thro Chinley.

(b) On-Road
Leave town on B6101 to New Mills where
Right at mini-roundabout
Left at T onto A6015
Third Right onto Marsh Lane
Left onto Ladypit Road to Buxworth where
Left onto B6062 to Chinley

(a) and (b)
Road becomes A624.
Left on lane before bridge signed Wash,
Left at X-roads onto A625 along Rushup Edge.
Left (before car park) for a quick steep climb,
and spectacular descent into the Vale of Edale.
Left signed Edale Station and village.
