Achilles Injury - Event Planning

1. MEDICAL QUESTION.

I've just ruptured my left Achilles tendon - running, not riding this time. Do you know riders who have overcome this injury and got back on song? I'd like to pick their brains!

2. BLOODY IDEAS.

Building on 1., would a column aping Francis's "Bright Ideas" but focussed on matters of gore and impact be worthwhile?

3. EVENT PLANNING.

Planning & re-planning (riding will be much harder) my Audax year I've found a "grid" of events helpful to try and sort out what to (imagine) I may do when. This might be of interest to people - would you like to consider/edit? a copy? (I've not yet computerised it or it'd be attached.)

(Francis tried this on the webpages last year but it wasn't popular. When its computerised we'd like a look at your version please. Sheila)
