I am still on top of the world after completing the L.E.L. my first ride over 600k. I want to say thank you to all the helpers who supplied me with endless cups of tea and good humour you are all super stars. I really appreciate the good folks at the Lincoln control camped out on that patch of grass between the Travelodge and the Little Chef which will be forever known in the peloton as the loneliest outpost.

Joining AUK is one of the best things that I have done,thanks to you all for the friendship and advice so freely given over the last few years . See you up the hill, best wishes.
