Peewhits and Curlews

600km cycling event starting from Darlington. Controls at Lanchester, Alston, Newcastleton, Moffat, Greystoke, Newby Bridge, J38 Services and Alston, plus 5 information controls.

Loosely based on Joe Applegarth's legendary Lanchester 400, this is an unashamedly hilly loop of the North Pennines, the Lakes and the Border Hills (there is a gentler night section down the Solway Firth).
