BRUM 200, a loop around Birmingham

211km cycling event starting from Balsall Common, West Midlands. Controls at Cannock Chase, Ironbridge and Bewdley, plus 3 information controls.

Village hall start/finish. Pre-ride breakfast and post ride home cooked food included in the entry fee. Wide choice of commercial controls in Ironbridge and Bewdley (including a micro brewery!!)

A surprisignly scenic loop around Birmingham, crossing the five counties (West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire) and several beauty spots, including Cannock Chase, the Ironbridge gorge, Wyre forest and the Severn valley. A pleasantly rolling route with a few more undulations in the Shropshire leg. The advised route follows B roads and quiet country lanes, with very little traffic. Closest station to HQ is Berkswell (literally down the road), direct early morning trains from Birmingham New Street and Coventry. EVENT NOW FULL!
