Eden and Tees
202km cycling event starting from Hallbankgate, nr Brampton. Controls at Dalston, Askham, Shap, Kirkby Stephen and Middleton in Teesdale, plus 2 information controls. Scenic Route around the top of Ullswater and Shap before crossing Great Asby Scar Nature reserve then the two classic climbs of Shot Moss and Yad Moss.
The route is relatively flat for the first 120km before the first of the two signature climbs, Shot Moss. A long descent to Middleton in Teesdale follows. After the control in Middleton in Teesdale, there's the mere matter of Yad Moss from the gentler east side before the last 35km, predominantly downhill, to the finish at Hallbankgate. Please note entries will be limited to a maximum of 80 for all the events starting in Hallbankgate on this day due to parking availability (combined total of entries for the 100, 150 and 200). Entries for this event are limited and may close before the closing date. If entries are not full at the closing date there may only be a limited number of late entries available if any.
