St Johns Chapel Wednesday

102km cycling event starting from St Johns Chapel. Controls at Middleton in Teesdale, plus 3 information controls.

Mid-week event starting and finishing in St Johns Chapel. Undulating but very scenic route through the heart of the North Pennines.

A basic event but there are facilities at the café at the start and finish as well as some opportunities for refreshments or a rest on the route. The route is very scenic and most of the climbing is gradual. The route passes through Allenheads, Coalcleugh, the edge of Alston and then over Yad Moss. The route continues through to Eggleston before the gradual climb over Middleton Common to Frosterley where it follows the valley back to St Johns Chapel. Car Parking in Village. NO EOD. See Facebook Page 'Tyneside Vagabonds Audax Events'.
