The Winter Boat Ride

210km cycling event starting from The Wonder Cafe, Uxbridge. Controls at Green Dragon Rare Breeds Centre, Stoke Bruerne (The Boat) and Marsworth/Tring (Open Control), plus 2 information controls.

A ride out across the Buckinghamshire downs, just right for a short winters day. We ride out from the well named Wonder Cafe, and finish at a Wetherspoons Pub. What's not to like?

RIDERS WISHING FOR THEIR VALIDATED BREVET CARD TO BE RETURNED AFTER THE EVENT MUST SUBMIT A STAMPED SELF-ADDRESSED ENVELOPE (SSAE) TO THE EVENT ORGANISER ON ARRIVAL AT THE EVENT HQ. STAMPED ENVELOPES WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. IF YOU DO NOT REQUIRE YOUR BREVET CARD TO BE RETURNED THEN AN SSAE *IS NOT* REQUIRED. Please note the full event results, including rider names and where appropriate, the associated ACP/BRM certificate numbers required for ACP awards and PBP registration, are automatically published through the AUK website. Physical Brevet cards ARE NOT required to claim AUK/ACP awards or qualify for PBP. This approach is intended to reduce workload and costs. Thank you for your support.
