209km cycling event starting from Llandrindod. Controls at Llanidloes and Kington, plus 4 information controls. A 200 designed to test not only the rider's ability to handle varying terrain, but also to test their ability to plan a ride. Short stretches of traffic-free cycle route.
Leaving Llandrindod, passing through Newbridge-on-Wye, the route soon takes lanes to and through the Elan Valley. The descending to Cwmystwyth then leaving the Ystwyth valley and crossing to the uppermost reaches of the Wye Valley at Llangurig and onto Llanidloes. Following more National Cycle route to Newtown, and onto the pretty village of Bernew. Then Climbing over to the Teme Valley and a long descent to and through Knighton, Preistiegne, Kington and finally more lanes back to arrivee at Llandrindod.
