There’s a great descent to Hurstbourne Tarrant where you can pick up a receipt at the Londis store before turning west toward Bristol. The final control is at the Applecart Cafe in Pewsey where a decent feed will fuel you for the 65km back to Bristol, you should catch site of another horse at Alton Barnes. If you need a top up of food or drink then there are shops, cafes and pubs in the village of Lacock.
