Tour de Stour
106km cycling event starting from Village Hall, Long Melford CO10 9JQ. Controls at Long Melford. A mini Tour of the river Stour. The correct postcode for the start is CO10 9JQ No more postal entries please as I won't be able to turn them round and get them back
If there are brevet cards available entries on the day will be £10 A figure of eight route to Dedham where there is an information control and plenty of facilities to fuel up if required before heading back to Long Melford for refreshments and then onwards to Denston then a control a few KM on before going back to Long Melford via Clare The START / CONTROL will be open from 07.30 It is at the well appointed Long Melford Village Hall (signed down a lane opposite the Bull Hotel) which has parking spaces for a fair number of cars. More space can be found just 300m north up the B1064 in the public car park next to the Old School on the west of the road. Clearly 100k riders are more likely to need to use this latter car park. Please park tidily to make best use of the limited space. Food and Drink will be available at the Village Hall before and after each ride. Rather than price everything individually we invite donations to cover our costs. .
