NEW HQ @ Shenstone Village Hall, larger, more parking & toilets. Free DIY breakfast from 7:30. Location map sent to entrants. ON-THE-DAY entry +2 admin fee. NEW FROGHALL CAFE CONTROL - not Ipstones. 2700M climbing.

Stg.1 Gentle attractive lanes route across the Trent valley. Stg.2 Tough climbs from the start to pass through picturesque Hartington. Long descent to Info. Control at Grangemill X. Then climb and descent to Village Hall Control: new in 2018. Stg.3 flatter scenic lanes to by-pass congested Ashbourne. More attractive lanes across Dove valley and Needwood Forest. DIVERSION HERE TO AVOID ROADWORKS. More direct return through Lichfield to finish.
