Simple out and back journey from tewkesbury to just over the Welsh border to Monmouth. A proven route suitable for Winter cycling. One control half way, other cafes available on route should cyclists so wish.

Keep the winter cobwebs at bay, with a gently rolling venture to the border town of Monmouth. Birth place of HenryV warrior monarch and home of Charles Rolls, a keen cyclist and pioneer motorist... A wide range of hot/cold food & drink available at Monmouth control, something available to suit just about everyone. Some riverside tracks used at times, can be ridden on normal road bike (even with 23mm tyres).
