Wells, Mells & an Old Rail Trail

104km cycling event starting from Whitehall Garden CentreWhitchuch, Bristol. Controls at Wells and Mells, plus 1 information control.

An inaugral ride taking in the sights south of Bristol. Expect a few climbs including King Alfred's Tower and some beautiful countryside. The first in a series taking in location and extent of the old GWR network.

Car parking available from 08:00. Cafe open from 08:30 to 16:30 for hot food; drinks and cake until 17:30. Car park gates locked at 18:00. Mark Rigby (my mentor) will be able to do instant validation at the end so no need for the previously mentioned SAE envelopes for Brevet Card to be returned. Route notes and gpx will be supplied via email after final check.
