100km cycling event starting from Smallworth, Garboldisham, near Diss. Controls at Thornham, plus 4 information controls. This very popular ride was formerly called the Garboldisham Grafter. In truth, the ride does not require hard graft, but allows for a leisurely amble through country lanes with beautiful scenery.
There are no hills to speak of! There is a commercial control at Thornham. There are other refreshment opportunities in Eye, Stradbroke and Laxfield. The route passes through these villages before returning via Finningham, Walsham and Knettishall. Free refreshments are provided at the end of the ride with home-made cakes to die for! Accreditation will take place at the finish on the day, so SAEs are not required for brevet cards.
