Mille Pennines

1000km cycling event starting from Bispham, Lancashire. Controls at Arnside, Whinlatter Pass, Seascale, Askrigg, Stanhope, Bellingham, Langholm, Penrith, Askrigg, Yarm, Robin Hood's Bay, Ripon, Hardraw and Clitheroe.

1000 km Audax cycling event through the Pennine chain. More information available on the event website. 46 riders finished the 2018 edition of the Mille Pennines 1000.

Stage 1: Bispham - Askrigg 284 km (Fylde/Lune Valley/Lake District). Stage 2: Askrigg - Askrigg 324 km (northern Pennines/southern Scotland/Eden Valley). Stage 3: Askrigg - Hardraw 280 km (North Yorks' Moors/Yorkshire Dales). Stage 4: Hardraw - Bispham 113 km (Yorkshire Dales/Ribble Valley/Fylde).
