The best ghost spotting sites are at Jay's Grave, Okehampton Castle, Lydford village and The Hairy Hands! The waning moon will rise at 10.28pm and set at 6.44am, it is however at 98.7% of the full moon, and will reach an altitude of 20 degrees. There are a mixture of lanes, main roads, and optional cycle tracks (including a tunnel), and few street lights, so good reliable lights are essential. The only shop open on the route is at 40km, so you will need to be self-sufficient, there is also a control at 90km.
