N anywhere in the calendar pages indicates a new event, or a
U indicates an update or change with reference to the hardcopy Calendar.
D indicates a change of date with reference to the hardcopy Calendar.
A indicates an adjustment to the AAA points - this does not indicate that the event has changed in any way - just the points allocation.
Event Number can be a useful reference.
Distance shown here is the 'nominal' distance - actual distance may be a few kilometres more.
Time is 24-hour clock
AAA points indicate degree of hilliness - 1 point would be hilly, more would be very hilly.
Climbing where known is intended to show the total climb for the ride.

To enter an Event send a completed entry form, entry fee (cheque made out to organiser), and two medium-sized C5, stamped, self-addressed envelopes to the organiser to arrive at least a fortnight before the event (to allow the organiser to order the correct number of brevet cards).Arrows and Darts (both Events and Permanents) should include a list of your proposed controls.
Events appearing in the Audax UK Calendar are open to all cyclists. You do not have to be a member of AUK. However non-members are required to add £2.00 to each entry fee - this provides insurance cover for the duration of the event.
Mudguards may be required on some events, and many events include some riding in hours of darkness, so good lighting is also required.
